Day 9: No cleverly themed subtitle today

Yesterday I had 8 lemonade drinks - it didn't make much of a difference in my eliminations, so I think I'm going to just stick with drinking the lemonade whenever I feel hungry. I'll probably get in around 6 or 7 glasses a day if I follow that schedule.

Paul and I went to the rec center last night, and I did about 45 minutes on the elliptical there. Then my legs got weird. They felt a little weak, almost as if they were going to buckle underneath me. I am wondering if, to get the energy talked about in the book, I need to have a little bit more than the 1 tablespoon of maple syrup I've been having. The recipe calls for 2 tablespoons, but in his book Burroughs says you can do one (if you are overweight) or two.

Anyway, so now I am doing a "heaping" tablespoon of maple syrup - maybe that will make a difference.

I woke up at 6:30 am this morning, which was better than the past couple of days when I have been waking up late. I feel like I get so much more done during the day if I wake up at a reasonable time.

I'm getting bumps all over my neck and chin, and I am still breaking out a little on my face. I am guessing this is part of the detox - my body is trying to flush out toxins in every way I can. I am definitely NOT stopping the cleanse until all of that clears up.

Things are going really good though so far.
